DECLARING WAR ON FINANCIAL INJUSTICE AND POVERTY
This week -- as thousands of people marched in the streets of South Africa to protest financial injustice and poverty -- the Lord began to speak to my heart from the books of Joel and Haggai, regarding divine judgment against financial injustice, and the transfer of the wealth of the wicked into the hands of the righteous. Whether the Lord returns in 15 days, 15 months or 15 years, we still need financial resources to fulfill our destinies in the earth. This September, we are declaring war in the heavens against financial injustice and poverty. The battle will culminate during seven days of intense spiritual warfare between September 17 - September 24. During these days, we will be bombarding the gates of hell without ceasing until the stongholds of financial injustice and poverty begin to collapse, and a domino affect ripples across the earth in governments, financial institutions, businesses, churches, organizations, and every aspect of finances around the globe.
If you bear witness with this word, and would like to join Juliet and I in prayer and fasting this month, please drop us a brief note so we can keep each other covered in prayer. These demonic powers which have control over the world's financial systems are very strong; only corporate prayer and fasting can bring them down. On September 11, 2002, Juliet and I will be celebrating our fourth-year anniversary. Last year -- on our 3rd year anniversary -- I called my mom in the United States just prior to the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. During our telephone conversation, the Holy Spirit fell on me and I spoke these words: "The financial systems of this world are now coming under judgment". Within 7 hours, the World Trade Center fell. Looking back at the context of our conversation, it not only involved financial corruption and wickedness in the world, but also in the church. Warning: Along with this Haggai Fast comes personal responsibility. This September we are calling the Body of Christ into a time of repentence, accountability, personal judgment and preparation for financial reformation. As the heavenlies begin to shake, do not expect things to get better before they appear to get worst. But out of this process of personal death and tumultuous shaking, new life and revival will birthed.
According to a word we received on Rosh Hashana, 2000, we are now at the same place Hezekiah was in II Kings chapter 20; although this generation is terminal, and great tribulation is about to be released upon the earth, it is not out of the Lord's power to grant us another 15 years, and release revival instead of tribulation. The Hezekiah Principal is the heart of the Book of Joel, which I believe points to this hour in history.
According to the Word received on Rosh Hashana, 2000, a chief sign to look for is the Dome of the Rock. As long as the Dome remains standing, their is hope for peace. But if the Dome falls, it is a sign that war is inevitable and that mankind has made their final choice. If you look at the recent intelligence of the buldge that has begun appearing on the Temple Mount -- indicating that the Dome of the Rock may soon collapse -- we find a sobering warning. The time to chose will soon be over. We must chose now between life and death while there is time, or the Hezekiah Generation will soon close, and the Tribulation will begin.
Blessings,
