2004 AD - A YEAR OF CHANGE, CASTING DOWN OF STRONGHOLDS

Saddam Hussein's capture on December 14 - two weeks prior to the beginning of the New Year - is a vivid prophetic picture of what is about to take place in 2004. I believe that 2004 will be remembered as a year of the casting down of strongholds. Financial strongholds, international strongholds, governemental strongholds, personal strongholds, demonic strongholds and principalities and powers in high places are about to be confronted and defeated.

Many judgments in the earth which have been held back by God's hand of divine grace are being impacted during this transitional time by the prayers of God's saints. Although many world shaking events cannot be held back indefinitely, intercession continues to be the key factor which brings about stability and releases life and hope to those who were once sentenced to death, but who have been pardoned through prayer.

I see flags rising up from the islands of the Pacific; from Hawaii, New Zealand, Samoa, the Philippines, Japan, and the Aleutians. Islands which were on the verge of being devastated by unprecedented tsunami triggered by great quakes, I see angels with flaming swords calling warriors amoung the islands unto a counsil of war. I see white flags like hundreds of tiny dots rising amoung the islands with a blood-red cross in the center, and new training bases being built which will commission and send revivalists into the four corners of the world. Do not depise God's grace when he relents from sending calamity.

I see nations carrying the flag of a crescent moon and star being flooding by tidal waves of revivalists from the Pacific and the four corners of the world as strongholds begin to collapse. Do not despise your Muslim brothers and sisters in Iraq, but pray for them fervently, for Iraq is about to undergo a mighty change. It will be the first of many Islamic nations which will be touched by the hand of God and transformed by His Spirit. Yes, there will be wars and rumors of wars, but the greatest war is now taking place behind the scenes in the heavenlies for the souls of men.

Do not fear when you see financial foundations around you begin to tremble. Do not resist change, but embrace the future with faith. For all you see now will soon be no more. Something much greater is coming. If God be with you, who can be against you? Which one of your needs is greater than God? Do not fear, for the hour of change is now upon us. Even though you have only a few meager mites left in your account, and your shoes are now filled with holes, hang on to God's promises and expect an unprecedented financial miracle in 2004.

Do not be deceived, without uncompromising and sacrificial obedience to the Holy Spirit you will not survive the days ahead. Many are running to and fro frantically in this hour as they see their world collapsing, but if you can put the Kingdom of Heaven first in this hour, all of your personal and family needs will be abundantly provided for you as you enter into the coming year of change.
