Earthchanges in 2003 and 2004 ?

This posting is not easy tot read for laypeople, that is lay in astronomical matters, but it is worth the effort. It is astonishing so many prophecies about astronomical changings to be expected are more or less explained overhere.

Hi, Tim,

Thank you for asking.  Questions like this one make me organize andcommunicate my ideas.

I believe that Earth will encounter Planet X in early June 2003 (or 2050,2097, ...) in order to fulfill a prophecy in Revelation 6:4 and also theAmerican Groundhog Day Legend.  My comments follow your signature below.

Hi Glen,

Being an avid 'student' of ancient history and human origins (as well asZecharia Sitchin) I would be interested to hear more of your views on PlanetX/Nibiru and when you think it may return.

Tim

I agree that Planet X will approach Earth from the Southern Skies, inparticular from the constellation Sagittarius.  This is based on myanalysis of Revelation 6:2.

"2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had abow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer."

The white horse is clearly Sagittarius, the (mounted) archer. The color white refers to the color of the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, which is in Sagittarius. Visually, the constellation looks like a steamingteapot, and white is the color of the Sagittarius Star Cloud, which looks likethe steam. He that sat on him with a bow is the archer, Sagittarius. Thecrown is a reference to Coronae Australis, the Southern Crown, which is theconstellation immediately south of Sagittarius.

The other three horses of the apocalypse are as follows.

The red horse (Rev. 6:4) is Pegasus.

The black horse (Rev. 6:5) is Centaurus.

The pale horse (Rev. 6:8) is Monoceros.

Peace,
Glen

There are 88 constellations in the sky.  Rev. 6:2 (in my original messagequoted above) refers to two of them: Sagittarius (archer) and CoronaAustralis (crown).  The chances of this being a co-incidence are one in7744 (= 88 x 88) if this verse is to be read in an astronomical context. If Planet X approaches from Sagittarius and bends Earth's trajectory (seebelow), it will have "conquered" the Earth.

My hypothesis is that Planet X and Earth will change each other's orbits asthey swing about their temporary common center of gravity like two squaredancers performing a do-si-so.  Earth will do most of the swinging, makinga 150 turn.  The more massive Planet X will be deflected by only about45.  According to my hypothesis, this maneuver will accelerate Earth (likeJupiter accelerated Voyager) in what NASA calls a gravity slingshotmaneuver.  The purpose would be to send Earth out to meet Mars.  Earth willacquire a retrograde orbit about the Sun.  Since Mars has a direct orprograde orbit, Earth and Mars would approach each other head-on.  Thatencounter would partially circularize Earth's orbit, bend Mars's orbit byabout 75, and send Mars in a polar orbit to Jupiter.  At Jupiter, it wouldmake another 75 turn and acquire a retrograde orbit in Earth's orbitplane.  When Mars catches up with Earth from behind (about 6.3 years afterthe head-on encounter), I believe it will replace the Moon as Earth'ssatellite.

A space voyage like that has a very narrow launch window because Mars is amoving target, and Earth can't make any mid-course corrections.  I'vecalculated 2-body (planet and Sun) orbits, and I intend to calculate n-bodyorbits (taking the gravity of all the planets into account).  Based on myearlier calculations, the encounter of Earth with Planet X "must" occur inearly June 2003, and the rendezvous of Earth with Mars would then occur inearly February 2004.

Of course, the Earth-Mars configuration repeats periodically, so if youmissed the June 2003 launch date, you could wait 47 years until the sameconfiguration appeared again and launch at that time.  The reason I say thePlanet X encounter "must" occur in early June 2003 (or 2050, 2097, ...) isto satisfy a Biblical prophecy and the Groundhog Day legend in my opinion. If this launch occurs in that window, then Mars would appear to remainnearly motionless in the constellation Pegasus for nearly 8 months.  Thiswould be because Earth and Mars would be orbiting the Sun in oppositedirections, and their orbital periods would be similar (within 22% of eachother), so the line of sight between them would not change direction verymuch relative to the stars over 8 months.  (I did compute an ephemeris toprove this idea.)

Allow me to quote Revelation 6:4:

"And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given untohim that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they shouldkill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword."

Thanks to the Mobil Oil Company, we know that the Flying Red Horse isPegasus.  (A huge rotating neon sign shaped like the Mobil Oil Pegasus logosits atop the Magnolia Building in my home town of Dallas, Texas.)  Mars, the Roman god of war, is "him that sat thereon".  The four stars of theGreat Square of Pegasus will appear to be red because Earth will haveblue-shifted itself in the process of raising its atomic frequencies andincreasing its density during the U-turn maneuver.

The "great sword" may be a reference to the possibility that Mars will"cleave" the Moon away from the Earth with its gravity "sword" when itreturns from Jupiter.  The encounter with the Moon would slow Mars downenough to allow it to be captured by the Earth and speed the Moon up enoughfor it to escape Earth orbit.

Because the constellation Pegasus is north of the ecliptic plane (Zodiac),Mars can normally never be observed in Pegasus.  Therefore, the only way tofulfill this prophecy, in my opinion, is for Earth to be pulled into a neworbit by the gravity of Planet X.

A couple of years ago I made a preliminary calculation that Earth's newtemporary orbit would have a mean radius of 1.285 AU and an aphelion(maximum orbit radius) of 1.558 AU.  That calculation showed that Earthwould rendezvous with Mars at 1.535 AU on February 2, 2004 when the surfaceof Mars would be only 17,000 km from the surface of Earth, and Mars wouldsubtend an angle of 18.9 or about 36 Moon diameters in the sky.  Thatcalculation was preliminary.  I will perform a more rigorous calculation inthe near future.  If true, that would be an awesome sight.

GROUNDHOG DAY LEGEND and the MARTIAN ECLIPSE of the SUN

For nearly four years I have had the idea that the Groundhog Day Legend isa clue from God about the rendezvous with Mars.  As you probably know, thelegend says that if the groundhog sees his shadow there will be six moreweeks of winter.  Well, February 2 plus 42 days is March 16.  The VernalEquinox occurs on March 21.  So, there are always 6.7 weeks of the winterseason following February 2.  But on Groundhog Day in the year 2004,according to my hypothesis, Mars will eclipse the Sun because Mars willpass just inside Earth's orbit, and it will subtend an angle of 36 Sundiameters.  Naturally, the groundhog will not see his shadow during thiseclipse.

The beauty of this clue is that in this process, Earth will have declinedit's polar axis by about 12 in the direction of Japan (6 in June andanother 6 in February) and inclined its orbit plane by about 12, so thatafter the encounter with Mars, Earth's equator will be approximatelyparallel to its new orbit plane, having eliminated the present obliquity ofits ecliptic of 23.44.  That means there will be perpetual Springthroughout the entire year.  There will be no more winter or summer. Therefore, there will not be six more weeks of winter, and the legend willbe fulfilled.

Peace,
Glen
