DEFINITE SIGNS OF THE END TIMES AND THE LAST DAYS

“He answered them:
"When it is evening, you say:
'It will be fair weather; for the sky is red.'
And in the morning:
'It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and threatening.'
You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you CANNOT INTERPRET THE SIGNS OF THE TIMES.”
(cf. Mat 16:2-3)

HOLY SCRIPTURE tells us to look for the FOLLOWING SIGNS to occur shortly before the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ:

* THE LESSON OF THE FIG TREE
The fig tree is used figuratively in the Bible to represent Israel.
The lesson of the fig tree (Matthew 24:32-35) is given to us by Jesus as a sign of the end times.
It is interpreted generally as the point in time when the dispersed Jewish people return to their home land to become an autonomous nation again.
Verse 34 states:
"Amen I say to you, this generation will NOT pass away until all these things have taken place."

Jesus told us in Holy Scripture that the generation of people who live at this time, will live to witness the second coming of Christ.
The modern state of Israel became an autonomous nation on May 14, 1948, and the Jews have been returning ever since..

* BIRTH PANGS
Earthquakes have increased exponentially since 1970.
What was once a large quake now is considered an average quake.

* WARS AND RUMORS OF WARS
No other period in history has known the number or nature of wars as during the last 110 years.
(Mat 24)

* TEACHINGS OF CERTAIN FATHERS OF THE CHURCH that time would last for 6,000 years.
Using the [Hebrew Masoretic] Bible, it has been established that Adam & Eve were on Earth about 6,000 years ago.

· THE REVIVED ROMAN EMPIRE
The book of Daniel predicts that the revived Roman Empire [the European Unioon] is to be in existence at the time of the Great Tribulation of the Antichrist
(Daniel 2:33-34 & 2:41-44).

In Daniel, the revived Roman Empire is represented by the image of the statue’s "feet of iron and clay" (a loose confederation).
The Antichrist is to be a politician from the revived Roman Empire.

Revelation 17 affirms that the Antichrist comes from this revived Roman Empire, as Rome is the city surrounded by seven hills. (Rev. 17:7-18).

Further, OUR LADY OF LASALETTE stated:
“Rome will loose the Faith and become the seat of the Antichrist.”

The European Union is a loose confederation by anyone’s standards, and is believed by many to be that revived Roman Empire.
Officially, it came into existence in 1992.

· AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH & LOT
The Blessed Mother told us via a number of private prophets (e.g. Fr. Stefano Gobbi ), that the world TODAY IS WORSE than in the days of Noah.
Nota Bene: See the rise in open homosexuality, human sacrifice via abortion promoted by the state and cloning.

· THE BATTLE LINES OF THE MIDDLE EAST
The Arab nations together with Russia are UNIFIED IN OPPOSITION against the modern state of Israel.
(Eze 38)

· THE EUPHRATES RIVER IS DRYING UP
Due to Turkish and Syrian dams upstream and the related diversion of water, the Euphrates River is drying up, as predicted to make way for the ‘kings of the East’
(Rev. 16)

· THE NEW HEALTH CARE LAW OF THE USA contemplates the use of the MARK OF THE BEAST (which is the SUBDERMAL MICROCHIP).
The satellite system is in place, and Microsoft has developed the necessary software.
The new Health Care Law requires that the system be operational by March, 2011.
Smart cards may precede the use of the Chip.

· TERRORISM IS BEING USED AS A RUSE to promote laws restricting and revoking freedom (US Patriot Acts I & II, the John Warner Act, the Military Commissions Act, etc.).
Soon it will be used to promote, and later force, the IMPLANTATION of the Mark of the Beast (the Subdermal Microchip)
(Isa 24 & Rev 13).

· THE GOSPEL HAS BEEN PREACHED THROUGHOUT THE WORLD
The Greek word for world used in Matthew 24:14 refers to the then-known world of the Roman Empire.
Romans 10:18 is clear:
“But I ask, have they not heard ? Indeed they have; for "Their voice has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.”

“Has Matthew 24:14 been realized ? Definitely, Yes.”

· PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANITY IS ON THE RISE
No other religion is being attacked like that of Christianity.
It will INCREASE significantly very soon, and the Church will go out the same way that She came in: VIA THE CATACOMBS.
(Joh 16, Luk 21, Mar 13 & Mat 24)

“And brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death...”
(cf. Mar 13:12)

The US Patriot Acts have provisions in which anyone having knowledge of the location of ‘ENEMY COMBATANTS’ must turn them into authorities, or be imprisoned.

The [present] US President (a Muslim) is the one who UNILATERALLY designates who are ‘enemy combatants’.
Recently, a former cabinet member of former US President Clinton stated in an article that “Christians are worse than terrorists.”

· NATURAL DISASTERS HAVE BEEN INCREASING SIGNIFICANTLY IN RECENT YEARS.
The insurance industry has reported record losses for many of the years since 1999. (Luk 21 & Mat 24)

· ONE-WORLD GOVERNMENT
To make the way for one-world government the Illuminati (a group of 13 wealthy elitist families who control international finance and all nations from the shadows) have broken the back of the former USSR economically, and are now doing the same to the remaining superpower, the USA.

· THE EARTH’S POLES are in the process of reversing.

· PRIVATE PROPHECY confirms that the TIMES HAVE ARRIVED.

"Then afterwards I will POUR OUT MY SPIRIT upon all mankind.
Your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions;
Even upon the servants and the handmaids, in those days, I will pour out my spirit."
(cf. Joel 2:28-29)

"Extinguish not the spirit.
DESPISE NOT PROPHECIES.
But prove all things;
hold fast that which is good."
(cf. 1Th. 5:19-21)
This is not a recommendation…….. but a directive !)

* Now, what is the PROBABILITY that all of these prophesized events will occurred SIMULTANEOUSLY BY CHANCE ?
Answer: EXTREMELY REMOTE !

[Therefore it's a certainty - statistically speaking - we truly are in the End -Time, in the Days of the Lord, in the time ending in the Tribulation.]

Please understand, that this is NOT THE END OF THE WORLD.
It is the END OF THE ERA OF SATAN.
What follows is [the 1000-year period of] the Era of Peace.

OTHER BELIEFS About the End Times

* The JEWISH TEMPLE of Jerusalem will be REBUILT prior to the second coming of Jesus.
This is not generally accepted by the Catholic Church.
The ‘temple’ referred to in Daniel 9, Matthew 24 and 2 Thessalonians 2 may be the Catholic Church, which also will have to be rebuilt after the Tribulation.
However, the Jews in ISRAEL of to-day - 2010 - are quite active in preparing for this rebuild of their Temple.
Some hold the Golden Dome will be conquered and instituted as the Rebuilt Temple.

* The Pre-Tribulational RAPTURE of SOME good people into Heaven prior to the Great Events of the Tribulation.
This belief seems originally to stem from a footnote (only) placed in the Protestant Darby Bible about 150 years ago.
“This I declare, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God...”
(cf. 1Co 15:50)

Now, many PRIVATE PROPHECIES of our days confirm a CERTAIN RAPTURE will take place, but NOT of ALL Christians.
ONLY some children, and some very old and sick persons, will be raptured to prevent them to live through the terrible events of the Tribulation.

* MILLENARIANISM, OR CHILIASM, which is the belief that Jesus will return to reign on Earth in the flesh for 1,000 years, has NOT been condemned by the Church as it is understood these days through private prophecy.

EXPLANATION OF MILLENARIANISM, OR CHILIASM,

* Theological research tells that chiliasm [a thousand year period of peace] should NOT be understood as a COMMUNISTIC OR NATIONAL-SOCIALISTIC POLITICAL IDEA to be realised on the existing earth only by EARTHLY MEANS.
THIS PARTICULAR VIEW has been CONDEMNED by the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

* Now about the catholic theological view on chiliasm proper.

* Scripture only knows ONE RESURRECTION of the body at the end of the 1000-year period on the New Earth.
Remember Resurrection means the recombination of the human soul with the recreated supernatural body.

* Pope Benedictus XII (twelf) has taught that the souls of the dead, who are without sin, immediately are allowed in the view of God.

* Scripture says the Church will be persecuted till the END.
Well, what precisely is the end ?
That's the end of the time on the (old) earth, the earth AS WE KNOW IT NOW.
On the New Earth ONLY the true Catholic Faith will be present and persecution will NOT exist.

* To be moved from the old earth to the New Recreated Earth is NOT to be called Resurrection although the faithfull transported (with body and soul) will receive extra graces to always stay in the state of grace from then on.
These people have had their purgatory on the old earth.
NO mortal sin any more to be seen on the New Earth.
When their time on the New Earth is up they go straight to heaven.

* The Magisterium of the Catholic Church NEVER has given a condemnation of chiliasm as explained here, mainly because the interpretation of the terminology was not clear, and still is not clear.

* Many prelates and theologians have spoken against same, but that may NOT be interpretated as a true condemnation by the Magistérium.
Many theologians and prelates also have spoken in favour of the chiliasm view as given above.

* Everyone is completely FREE to DEFEND the type of CHILASM as given in this article.
