40 Day window of prayer

November 15 Through December 25, 2003

The latter half of November through the end of December should be a time of soberness, prayer and fasting, spiritual warfare and extreme alertness, whereas the powers of darkness are now poised and ready to strike the Body of Christ like a serpent. The enemy wishes to kill, steal and destroy on a massive scale during this 40 day period. But the Holy Spirit is calling intercessors to checkmate the enemy before the battle even begins.

Nations are being weighed in the balance, and governments are on the threshold of being shaken, judged and brought into accountability for both the good and evil they have sown. The United States is no exception. Interestingly, exactly one year following the Nov. 3 Alaska quake in 2002, America received a divine 'report card' with two major signs in the heavens. The first sign on November 4 - a mammoth solar flare originating from Sunspot 486 resembling an unborn child - reflected the good sown by President Bush's signing of [the anti-]RU-486[law] which protects unborn children. The second sign on November 8 - the moon turning blood red during a total eclipse - occurred as Powell sent a letter of praise and support of the Geneva Peace Plan, which pressures Israel to give away large parcels of covenant land promised to Israel by God (including the Temple Mount). This sign reflects the evil the U.S. has sown in continuing to pressure Israel into compromising her God ordained inheritance, which was restored to Israel during the Six Day War in 1967.

As nations are coming into judgment, the enemy wishes to bring as much deaths and casualties as possible, but the heart of God is not willing that any should perish, so He continues to send warnings for the sake of repentance; fierce storms, earthquakes, signs in the heavens and earth. But when warnings are not heeded, more and more lives begin to perish as angelic forces are forced - with tears in their eyes - to lift their shields of covering and protection over the land.

America and many nations are now on the verge of some unprecedented wake up calls; thus, we are now calling a time of prayer and fasting from November 15 through December 25, 2003 - a very critical window of time. Many souls are about to perish around the world between now and and the end of the year if the enemy has his way, but lets not give him his way !

Without repentance, ultimately judgment must come. But if judgment first begins in the House of God - with repentence, prayer and fasting - many cataclysmic events can be averted this fall. This season should be a season not only of spiritual warfare, but a season of joy, singing and worship of the King of Kings as we celebrate His holy birth in 2003 !

Do not be caught off guard, but BE a guard for the sake of your brothers and sisters, for many of them are about to perish unaware, unless you guard them during this midnight hour with your prayers. ~ Blessings, Timothy Snodgrass
