before the comet comes

Before the comet comes

Prophecy of old

St. Senanus - Sixth Century

"The time is coming when princes and peoples will reject the authority of the Pope. Some countries will prefer their own Church rulers to the Pope. The German Empire will be divided."

Bishop Christianos Ageda - Twelfth Century

"Before the comet comes, many nations, the good excepted, will be scourged by want and famine. The great nation in the ocean (Great Britain ?) that is inhabited by people of different tribes and descent will be devestated by earthquake, storm, and tidal wave. It will be divided and, in great part, submerged. That nation will also have many misfortunes at sea and lose its colonies"

St. Vincent Ferrer - Fourteenth Century

"The chastisement will come when carriages go without horses (cars) and many accidents fill the world with woe. It will come when thoughts are flying around the earth in the twinkling of an eye (telephone), when long tunnels are made for horseless machines, when men can fly in the air (airplanes) and ride under the sea (submarines), when ships are wholly made of metal, when fire and water great marvels do, when even the poor can read books, and when many taxes are levied for war."

Sr. Marianne de Jesus Torres - Seventeenth Century"

God will punish the world when men have devised marvelous inventions that will lead them to forgetting God. They will have horseless carriages, and they will fly like birds (aircraft)"

Marie-Julie Jahenny - Nineteenth Century

"When pictures look alive (television), with movement free, When ships like fish swim beneath the sea (submarines), When man outstripping birds can soar the sky (aircraft), Then half the world deep drenched in blood shall die."

Therese Neumann, German mystic, Twentieth Century

In 1946, just after the end of World War II, Therese Neumann, a German stigmatic and mystic, was asked by an American GI if the United States would ever be destroyed or invaded in a war. Her answer was pointed: "No, but at the end of this century America will be destroyed economically by a series of natural disasters."

Saint Anselm (died 1109):

"Antichrist will rule the world from Jerusalem which he will make into a magnificent city" (page 76).

Dionysius of Luxembourg (died 1682):

"Antichrist will be an iconoclast (even against pagan images). Most of the world will adore him. He will teach that the Christian religion is false, confiscation of Christian property is legal, Saturday is to be observed instead of Sunday, and he will change the ten commandments... He will read people's minds, raise the dead, reward his followers and punish the rest."

"Antichrist will fight a successful battle at Megiddo in Palestine after which seven rulers, from fear, will subject themselves to Antichrist and he will thereafter become lord of the world" (page 85-86)

Maria Laach (16th Century)

After a terrible defeat of Germany (1945) will follow the next great war. There will be no bread for people anymore and no fodder for animals. Poisonous clouds, manufactured by human hands, will sink down and exterminate everything (chemical warfare). The human mind will be seized by insanity.
